Autobiography. 1907.

Rev. A. Adam was Presbyterian minister at Lexton, Beaufort, and the surrounding district, 1853-1899. His autobiography deals with the growth and development of his charge, giving an account of the erection of churches, the holding of services, the supporters of the Church (particularly the squatters) and financial arrangements, interspersed with a few personal anectodes.

In 1973 the Methodist and Presbyterian Churches agreed on a Union. Elements within the churches opposed union, including Rev. Neil McLeod and Mr. Charles Brilkly. These men approached the N.S.W.
